Does a group chat break no contact?

My ex and I are part of a very close group of friends. The group does lots of things together so we see each other often. Beyond that, we have a group chat and my ex and I are part of it. When I text in the group chat does it break no contact? I don’t text in it often, and when I do it’s usually not to my ex.

Gameplay
New players begin with the bare essentials: an 8 mhz PC XT computer and a 2400 baud modem. The goal of the Virtual Sysop is to attract callers to your virtual bulletin board, as well as find ways to earn money. Doing this requires advertising you board, upgrading your hardware, adding phone lines, answering emails, and more.[1]
Players may have to deal with all sorts of problems, ranging from unhappy users to burglary, hacking and viruses.
Virtual Sysop is multi-player, so players compete against one another to build the best BBS. Players can sabotage each other by various covert actions.

Virtual Sysop wasn't the foundation, but bulletin board systems certainly were. I used to dial in to a bunch of local bulletin boards in the 80s. Back in those days email was relayed in the middle of the night. You would send your message from your chosen BBS and then at around 3am all of the BBSs that participated would call each other to send/receive mail.

Okay, quick summary, I'm learning PHP, and after the arithmetic operators lesson, my mentor gave me this question to solve. I thought about it for a while, but I couldn't find the solution, so I thought of using ChatGPT because it was a math question anyway. This was his response:
Like, I don't care if it did not find the correct answer, but to get a wrong answer and say it is correct? WTF! How am I supposed to trust it anymore?

A model will claim anything is true just so it can chat. It's called a conversational model for a reason. Assume none it says ever is true.
